Excellent for mixing, especially if you're trying to impart malt without smoke to your scotch based cocktail. A little too sweet and fruity when I'm in some moods, but excellent value and right in the sweet spot of smoothness and complexity.

Made by the same people who produced Glenfiddich it’s a, this whiskey is perfect for introducing someone to speyside scotch. If the ethanol is to strong just add some soda (dr pepper is my favorite) or water and it opens up into a sweet roasted adventure.

Was thoroughly disappointed. So many said this was a standard bearer for blended scotch whisky. An intense vomit note is overpowering and lasts into the next pour of another whisky, so wash your glass before filling with another whisky. A lot of people like this, I use it as the standard for the worst a whisky can be.
